PAR-MER Aparcamientos y Mercados builds and manages parking lots and city markets by administrative concession and building rights. A large number of city councils are reforming and updating their local markets to meet new consumer needs and revitalize their older commercial facilities.
PAR-MER works with local administration to manage these types of projects. More often than not, it works on facilities that include other complementary uses, such as social housing or sports complexes, which also have parking lots and come with management needs.
In order to improve the management of such facilities, PAR-MER has signed collaborative agreements with the Barcelona Institute of Markets (IMMB), an association that assists public administration and helps design the projects.
